Sponsor of the Robo8o robotics team
We sponsored Robo8o, the team of the 8th Primary School of Vyronas, which won 1st place in the 2025 Panhellenic Educational Robotics Competition.
Sigma and the community
We are a Greek company, based in Agios Dimitrios since 1977. Our people take part in volunteer initiatives for the environment, health and solidarity, and we share our know-how through free seminars.
Small initiatives, by the people of the company.
We don't have a foundation or a large social responsibility programme. We have colleagues who want to help, and a company that backs them when they do: with time, with supplies and by taking part in initiatives run by organisations we trust.
- Environment: volunteer tree planting in Attica, together with our families.
- Health: blood donation drives and breast cancer awareness runs.
- Solidarity: support for homeless people and for those hit by natural disasters, and food collections at our offices.
- Education: sponsoring school robotics teams and free seminars at the Sigma Innovation Lab.
- Recycling: plastic bottle cap collection and packaging recycling at the company.
What we have done
Some of the initiatives Sigma people have taken part in.
Water for Thessaly
After the floods in Thessaly, our company sent bottled water to the people of the affected villages.
Streetwork with Emfasis
We joined an Emfasis Foundation streetwork. Emfasis is out on the streets of Attica every day, standing by homeless people with humanitarian, counselling and family support.
We run in Race for the Cure
A Sigma team runs in Greece Race for the Cure, the race for breast cancer awareness and prevention.
Tree planting in Penteli
With our families, at PIKPA Penteli, as part of the “Oloi mazi boroume” (Together we can) environmental initiative.
Panhellenic Volunteer Tree Planting
We took part in the 2nd Panhellenic Volunteer Tree Planting at the Galatsi Olympic Centre, under the auspices of the environmental organisation We4all.
Organisations we have worked with: We4all, “Oloi mazi boroume” (Together we can), Emfasis Foundation, Alma Zois.
