That is why we designed ORION 4G, a backup communication device between the alarm control panel and the Alarm Receiving Centre, to upgrade all older systems.

Reliability When it comes to security, there is no room for compromise. ORION 4G makes sure the alarm system is always connected to the ARC. Even when the traditional PSTN/ISDN phone line fails, ORION 4G keeps communicating seamlessly over the internet, using the mobile network.
Seamless compatibility. ORION 4G is compatible with existing 2G and 4G mobile networks, and with 5G in the future. It works with standard SIM cards, Machine to Machine (M2M) or GLOBAL SIM for full flexibility.
Secure communication ORION 4G uses the SIA IP DC-09 protocol, with AES128 encryption, to communicate with the ARC and CONTACT ID to send signals, ensuring top-level security for your data.
Automatic over-the-air firmware update
When a new firmware update is released, ORION 4G downloads and installs it automatically, with no need for the installer or user to step in. The update takes a few seconds. The update file is smaller than 70KB, to save data, and is encrypted. The download runs in the background without affecting how ORION 4G works.
Remote control Control your security system remotely, by SMS and a four-digit security code. Stay in control, wherever you are.
Control electrical appliances The four programmable I/O ports of the ORION 4G let you control any electrical appliance remotely by SMS, such as heating, lighting, irrigation etc.
Remote downloading You can set up the alarm control panel over the mobile network with the ORION 4G alone, without needing any extra device. Compatible with SIGMA, DSC, PARADOX, CADDX, TEXECOM, CROW, RISCO and other alarm control panels.
Worldwide use The ORION 4G works extremely well with multi-network Global SIMs. A dedicated algorithm constantly checks the signal strength and the internet status. If it detects any fault, it switches to the next available network so it can send the alarm signal successfully.
Also, when it operates in border areas where it can also connect through operators of neighbouring countries, you can choose which one you want as your “main operator” and block the ones you don't want, so it doesn't communicate through them and run up unnecessary (roaming) charges.
Easy programming The ORION 4G is installer-friendly, with programming options by SMS or computer, locally or remotely.
Tamper protection To be sure your system is protected from any unauthorised access, ORION G has two tampers: one against the cover being opened and one against removal from the wall.
